Overview
What is unique about Speck Products' tablet cases (in addition to their balance between design aesthetic and protective functionality) is their use of fastening clips to keep the cover on the tablet, no matter which tablet it is. Given that their old clip was unwieldy to use and to look at, a refreshed, updated design was considered. The new clip has the same dependable feature but a different look, owing to the look and feel of the brand.
The final design is slot-shaped and faceted, allowing enough clearance for a user to unclasp their cover case with ease. It also is secure enough that the case won't pop open and damage the tablet when dropped. This clip is featured on all of the current tablet cases starting from their Balance Folio, provided for tablets ranging from iPads to Zenpads to Galaxy Tablets.
